Upcoming Events

Mark your calendars now for these upcoming events:

Popcorn & a Movie Night – May 18:

Our May movie is Caged No More.  Inspired by real events, “Caged No More” is the story of Aggie Prejean, a grandmother on a desperate search to find her two granddaughters, Skye and Elle, who have been kidnapped by their sinister father. As the details behind the girls’ disappearance begin to unravel, they have been discovered to have been taken overseas to be sold into the sex trade. Aggie enlists the help of the girls’ uncle, a well-respected local philanthropist, and his son Wil, who is former Special Forces. A global hunt ensues, and the team will stop at nothing to see the girls safely returned home. (From The Dove Foundatation)  The movie beings at 6:30 p.m. and popcorn and beverages will be served.  There is no charge for this event.

Secret Church 18 Replay – May 20:

If you weren’t able to make it to the Secret Church simulcast or weren’t able to stay for the entire simulcast (we understand!), we will be rebroadcasting it on Sunday, May 20, beginning at noon.  Food will be served, and we have a limited number of study guides available.  We also invite you to join us for worship beforehand beginning at 10:00 a.m.!

Popcorn & a Movie Night – June 15:

Our June movie is The Darkest Hour.  During the early days of World War II, the fate of Western Europe hangs on the newly-appointed British Prime Minister Winston Churchill, who must decide whether to negotiate with Hitler, or fight on against incredible odds. (From The Dove Foundation)  The movie beings at 6:30 p.m. and popcorn and beverages will be served.  There is no charge for this event.

Seek Missional Evangelism: Are Evangelicals to Pursue Social Justice? – June 6:

Join us for this six session Bible study for adults that explores the serious and complex problems of poverty, addiction, and homelessness. Passion alone won’t solve them. We need effective strategies for meeting human needs. Combining real-world examples of effective action with the wisdom of Christian leaders like the late Chuck Colson, Al Mohler, and Marvin Olasky, this study will challenge your ideas about social justice and how to transform lives in need.  This study will be led by Pastor Ted Tromble and Jodi Buntin.  Dates of this study will be: June 6, June 13, July 11, July 18, July 25, and August 1, from 6:00-7:30 p.m.

Secret Church 19 – April/May 2019:
