The article, Why Are the Books of the Bible Placed in a Particular Order? was shared in the Adult Bible Study class this morning.
Our current study is on the book of Phillipians; the Adult Bible Study meets in Room 11 during the Sunday School time starting at 8:30 a.m.

From Pastor Ted …
Men: Super Saturday, February 2. As football’s elite athletes prepare for the Super Bowl battle on February 3, you’re invited to tackle an even bigger challenge: the battle for godly, courageous living in your own life. The men of Faith EPC of Crivitz, invite the men of Christ Alone Church to join them, along with 1500 churches across America, for Stepping Up Super Saturday. Based on the book Stepping Up: A Call to Courageous Manhood (by Dennis Rainey) and the enthusiasm from an August 4 simulcast viewed by six to seven thousand young men, Stepping Up Super Saturday promises to be a life-changing day that could turn the tide for men everywhere! The event will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cost is $5, and each participant is asked to bring his own lunch.
I say to you that God is a-foot in Christ Alone Church. Within recent weeks, two men have cast the notion of leading a men’s ministry. (A third individual made a concrete proposal a couple of years ago.) While information about the Stepping-Up conference has come to me only within the past three days (from two trusted sources) – and I personally know little about it – I see that it is a video series with a five year vision. I ask: Is God bringing together leaders within our church and a meaningful program?
If the February 2 event interests you, please let me know. Rick Marcy, pastor of the Crivitz church requests reservations by January 28.
Join us at Paul’s Pantry on Saturday, January 12 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. as we will once again be serving, helping in any way that’s needed. Parents, siblings and friends are welcome to join! Please let Youth Leader Abby Tobias know if you need a ride from the church or if you have any other questions.
